I am completely and utterly jealous of everyone who got snow. All we got was rain, rain, and more rain. :|

Also, I don't really have any 'meh' icons. I mean, the Spock icon is way too sad. As is the Laguna/Raine one. Wall-E is too contemplative. Zuko/Mai is kind of disappointed/angry, but definitely not 'MEH' worthy. I have 48 more icon slots though, so I think I'm going to have to go icon hunting!

...yeah, I couldn't decide what icon to use for this post. XD

Other than scanning, I did some fic writing for the first time in a dog's age (I don't think it's going to work). I fancied doing some writing anyway, so...here we are (I'd actually planned on working on dreximgirl's story, but I wasn't in the right mood for it (I don't actually know what the right mood is, actually. I'll get to it eventually (although I would like to finish it before I'm forty, heh. Maybe it can be my One Great Novel and I never write anything else ever again)).

Makes a nice change to be doing something that isn't gaming (and not that I hate gaming, don't get me wrong).

I was going to do some drawing, but that can wait till tomorrow (since Sunday is art day, lol).

To those who are new, hello and welcome to the annual Christmas soundtrack that is 99% entirely NOT christmas music. (Carols. Can't stand 'em. Too many years in retail with horrible holiday piped in music. If I'm going to rec carols at all, they'll be OLD ones, and mostly non-vocal. None of this Rudolph stuff.)

Behind the cut you'll find not many carols, but a lot of instrumental music, mostly from somewhat obscure soundtracks of the anime and game variety, which sound, to me, very christmasy. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays! ^__^

So I broke 1,000 words in my Yuletide fic. \o/ This pleases me greatly! I have (most of) a beginning and (most of) an end - all I need is a middle. THE HARD PART. :|

I was weak and bought paid time on DW. Heeeeey, it expired and my icons went back to 15. I WAS SAD. :(

It is officially the 19th! Which means Christmas isn't far away. Which means January isn't far away. AND THEN THE HOLIDAY SEASON WILL BE BEHIND US. :D

I can't complain though, since I actually kind of like Christmas. I mean, not for all that sentimental crap, but because I get presents and presents fill me with glee. I AM THE REASON CHRISTMAS LOST IT'S TRUE ~MEANING~. XD

I'm borrowing Crisis Core from someone. I have been told I will cry. I ALREADY KNEW THAT OKAY. :(

I am nearly at the end of Okami. OH MAN. I'll warn anyone who's considering playing it that the frustration ramp goes up right about the time you get access to the North Ryoshima coast. On the other hand, the two bosses I fought were a cakewalk (well, the second one was once I had a strategy that wasn't "beat the fuck out of it and use up all your healing items". The first one just went down after a lot of rapid beatings from my rosary - talking of which, I haven't tried any of the glaives yet, but the rosaries are by far and away my favourite weapon because they allow long distance beatings).

Damnit. I was going to scan some stuff today and all my plans went out of the window (and landed in the snow, no doubt). Oh well, tomorrow maybe.
